Been to Bali for several times and I always prefer to stay near the beach. The charm of Bali beaches are definitely unbeatable, I can't resist to live next to the beach so that every time I wake up, all I see is blue. But hey, have you ever heard that Bali is not only well-known with the beach, but also the beauty of its greenery nature? If you haven't heard, let me take you to the other part of Bali. It's called Ubud.
Ubud is located in Gianyar Regency, around 24 km away from the city of Denpasar and it takes around 1 hour minutes by car. As its location which is far from the crowd, Ubud is really well-known as a place for those who seek for serenity.
Since it was my very first time staying at Ubud area, finding the best place to stay is definitely the most important thing to do. And here I was.. With a wonderful infinity pool that looks over to the forest, a yoga barn that connects your body to the nature and beautiful rooms that makes you really comfortable.. The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud is one of the best place to stay in the area. Here is the place that I've been dreaming of to live.
This hotel was just opened at the end of 2019. Unfortunately the pandemic hit at early 2020, so this hotel was kinda underrated. However, after Bali tourism was opened again for local tourists at mid 2020, this hotel was slowly emerging as one of the most favorite hotel in Ubud. I found some influencers and celebrities enjoying their stay in this hotel.
And yes, they are right. I love every single corner and detail in this hotel. Loving the smell of the lobby, the smile on the staffs' faces, the taste of the foods.. I just love everything in here. I bet this is one of the best experience I've ever had during my stay in Bali.
First thing first. The lobby.
Main lobby of the hotel is everything. It is the face of the hotel. And yes, it didn't fail me. I was welcomed like home as I got off from my car. It was a very easy and fast check in experience. Loving it.
The second yet the most essential thing; The room.
Of course the hotel room is the key. The bed, the smell, the TV, the shower. Everything is put beautifully in a very spacious room. Thankfully I got the room with a big balcony which connected to the infinite pool. And by the way, I really love the Lavender Balm that was put in every room. As its promotion for "SleepWell", I really had a sleep well after using the balm. The smell is so calming.
Next, "FeelWell" and "WorkWell". Yes, you read it right.
The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud offers us to feel and work well with so many wonderful facilities, such as the infinite pool and yoga barn. I personally really love the yoga barn, because who's not coming to Ubud for Yoga? No one, I think. Ubud is really well-known for people who wanna do the yoga things, especially yoga in the nature. I was one of them.
